art project: there’s something good about southport

We are inviting children from schools, colleges and the home schooled community to take part in a public art installation at Adventure Coast Southport. This project gives young people the chance to express their love for Southport through art.

Here’s how it works:

Students create a piece of artwork inspired by what they love about Southport.

Their artwork will be printed and displayed at Adventure Coast Southport as part of a special exhibition in August.

Three stand out pieces will be turned into giant posters to be displayed in Southport and used to promote the whole town.

Every student who submits artwork will receive two free tickets to Adventure Coast Southport in the 2025 Season*

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 30TH JUNE 2025

Original artwork to be submitted in hard copy by posting to: Art Competition, Adventure Coast, Marine Drive, Southport. PR8 2HU. Please include your email or postal address.

Or hi-res copies to be scanned and emailed to art@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk

This is a fantastic chance for young people to engage with their local community, celebrate their town, and have their work featured in a public art installation.

*There must be at least one full fee-paying adult (Adventurer Pass) accompanying the artists when they visit the park. Once you’ve submitted your artwork, book tickets via our website to visit the park for the day of your choice, email art@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk with your booking ID and we will add two complimentary Adventurer Passes to your booking.
