PAWS IN THE PARK

Calling all four-legged adventurers, here’s one for the diary!

Introducing…Paws in the Park on Saturday 28th June!

Bring your pups to the park and get 1 FREE Adventurer Pass* or if you just want to participate in the dog show and activities then you can purchase our £5 Explorer pass.  This gives access to the park, entry into the dog shows, access to watch the Dog Agility displays and browse the craft stalls!

Whether you’re here for the dog-friendly fun or just fancy a day out with the family, you’re welcome either way. Simply book tickets for your party on line for 28th June, email hello@adventurecoastsouthport.co.uk with your booking reference and we’ll add one complimentary Adventurer pass to your booking for you . You’ll just need to bring your dogs with you on the day for the free pass to be valid!

*T&Cs apply: there must be at least one full-paying guest in your group, and dog owners remain responsible for their furry friends throughout the day.  Offer only available to purchase online in advance.  Not available to purchase on the day online or at the ticket office. One free Adventurer ticket per family (not per dog).

Fun Dog Show

We’ll be holding a fun dog show – you can register your dogs for as many categories as you like and there are rosettes and prizes galore to be won!  Head to the covered showring in the centre of the park  to register and take part!

Location: adjacent to the exit from Steampunk Bay into Cartoon Boardwalk

  • 1:00pm – Best Puppy (<12 months)
  • 1:15pm – Best Pedigree
  • 1:30pm – Best Crossbreed
  • 3:00pm – Best Trick
  • 3.15pm – Waggiest Tail
  • 3.30pm – Overall Best in Show

Grateful thanks to all our stall holders who have kindly donated prizes for the various categories including treats, toys and a pet photography gift voucher.  And also to our sponsors The Butchers Dog and Southport Dog Superstore – two local independent businesses who have kindly provided prizes for the dog show.

 

Dog Agility

We’re delighted to have the team from Preston Agility Dogs (PAD) with us.  They’ll be putting on three displays during the day and after each display inviting you to ‘have a go’ with your dogs (in return for a small donation to PAD).

Throughout the day there will be spot prizes awarded for dogs in the best fancy dress costumes!  So head over to the show ring to see if your dog’s fancy dress get up is worthy of a paw some prize!
